All Legendary Fish conditions
Keep the only copy: each species can currently be caught once per save. Donate it to the Museum first.
Cherry Fish
Search in Spring on a windy day with petals. Fish in a pond and target a small shadow.
Lightning Fish
Search in Summer during a Storm or Thunderstorm. Fish in a river and target a medium shadow. Ordinary rain is not the same condition.
Leaf Fish
Search in Fall on a windy day with falling leaves. Fish in a river and target a small shadow.
Snow Fish
Search in Winter during a Blizzard. Fish in the Ocean and target a medium shadow. Normal snow is not enough.
Why the Legendary Fish is not appearing
- Confirm the Legendary Fishing skill is unlocked.
- Check whether you already caught that species on this save.
- Match the exact season.
- Match the exact weather, not a similar-looking day.
- Fish in the correct water type.
- Clear only the required shadow size.
If the morning message did not appear, recheck the weather before spending the whole day at the fishing spot.
Current patches prevent unintended extra copies from Lucky Haul, Fish Schools, and Fish Traps. Plan around one catch of each species.
